At SIM, we are deeply committed to accessibility and inclusivity for all members of our community. While we strive to create a welcoming and accommodating space, we are limited by the constraints of our older building. That said, we will always do our best to address accessibility concerns and make reasonable accommodations whenever possible. If you have specific needs or suggestions on how we can better include all members, then please don’t hesitate to reach out to out to the team using the form below

Accessibility is a Priority

Building Accessibility

The building can be a bit difficult to navigate. From the front (pictured), the left side into the space [A] only has stairs. The far right side [B] is where the ramp is, right by the Northwest Brewing sign. The middle path does not lead to SIM [X], even though it looks like it would. The entrance to MOTO pizza [X] is on the left side right by the stairs on the far left, it is a driveway that has a very steep incline. The driveway down to MOTO Pizza is not wheelchair friendly and can be quite painful to navigate for those with chronic pain

There are no wheelchair or walker accessible bathrooms in the building. If you have a cane you should be ok using our upstairs bathrooms, accessible via a key hanging by the door. If you are wearing clothes that might catch please be careful, I have ripped clothes on a metal part that sticks out at doorknob height. There are similar bathrooms downstairs near Moto, but you have to navigate the giant ramp down, which is not wheelchair accessible.
